AI Detection: How to Identify Between Human and Machine-Written Content?

What is AI detection?

These days, AI (Artificial Intelligence) is taking the internet by storm. Excellent tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Cloud have arrived, which can write entire essays, blogs, or school assignments in seconds. But this has also posed a significant challenge—how can we know whether the article we see was written by a human or quickly created by a computer machine? The technique for determining this truth is called "AI Detection."

AI detection
3 ways you can spot AI articles yourself
If you want to check if an article is AI without software, focus on these 3 things:

1. No feelings and human touch:  AI writing is devoid of human emotion, anger, or personal experiences. It comes across as very plain and textbook-like. You won't find human emotion, anger, or personal experiences in AI-written articles. They feel very basic and dry.

2. Frequent use of specific words: AI has a strong preference for certain English words when writing, like Furthermore, Moreover, In conclusion, Crucial, Deep dive, etc. If these words show up repeatedly, it's a clear sign of AI involvement. You know it's AI generated.

3. Similar Structure: Humans sometimes write short sentences, sometimes very long and deep ones. But all of AI's sentences have a similar, measured length and structure.

Detection Tools

To be completely sure, there are a few great free websites online where you can paste the text and check it:

GPTZero: The world's most popular tool, it instantly shows the percentage of an article written by AI.

Copyleaks: This tool scans sentence structure and grammar in great detail.

Turnitin: This is used by professors at major schools and colleges to check students' projects and assignments.

🧐Are these tools always accurate?

No! AI detector tools are not completely infallible. Sometimes, even when a human writes very simple and bookish English, these tools will identify it as 'AI content'. This is known as a false positive in technical terms. Therefore, these tools cannot be blindly trusted.

📉 Conclusion

In the end, it can be said that no matter how much technology advances, it can never match the experiences, local proverbs, and frank style of the human mind. AI can be a great help, but the true author will always be human.

Scientific discovery and research  The first systematic scientific study and genetic research on Kadaknath began in the 1960s. Animal scientists from the Madhya Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department and agricultural universities studied. When scientists tested its black meat in the laboratory, the results...

Introduction: Humanity's Sole Witness in the Depths of the Universe When NASA launched Voyager 1 on September 5, 1977, no one imagined that this small spacecraft would still be communicating with us 48 years later.  Today, it is approximately 15.1 billion miles (24.3 billion kilometers) away from Earth. It is so distant that a radio signal sent by it takes more than 22.5 hours to reach Earth .  Voyager 1 has witnessed sights that no human has ever seen—Jupiter's colossal storms, Saturn's icy rings, and now, the eerie emptiness of 'interstellar space.'  Yet today, this spacecraft has become a mysterious puzzle—one that is baffling even the world's greatest scientists. voyager_spacecraft 2.
